Currently I’m self-employed in the residential appraisal business. I’ve been serving major lending institutions such as Washington Mutual, California Bank & Trust and Downey Savings. I’m a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser with 10 years experience. I have a Masters Degree in Business from Northern Arizona University. I’m affiliated with the Appraisal Institute and a member of the IRWA. My passion for work is knowing that it will be something different and challenging, making no two days ever the same. I also enjoy the opportunity to assist my clients in solving their critical business issues. Sometimes that means helping a client without ever doing an appraisal. As an appraiser we are the client’s eyes and ears. It is important to keep the client informed of what is happening in the marketplace and anything specific to a particular project. As an appraiser/businessman I have to make certain I’m providing the client with pertinent information that allows them to make good business decisions, whether it is for acquisitions, litigation or general valuation issues. Hobbies and recreational items: Main hobby is working my beautiful wife’s "Honey Do" list. Safe to say this hobby will never end. I also enjoy horseback riding, playing golf, snow skiing, working on my small ranch, and sitting out on the back patio watching a beautiful sunrise or sunset. I have served on the Education committee in a chairperson position for several years and also as Environmental Chair and last year as Secretary. I am now filling the President-Elect position. In this position I look forward to meeting the members of our Chapter at the Monthly meetings. My best wishes to all and I hope 2008 is a great year.
